PARTAP GROUP OF INDUSTRIES formed by Late Sh. Ram Partap Bansal, earlier engaged in the business of hire-purchase financing/ real-estate investment. Later on, Sh. Surinder Paul Bansal and Sh. Satish Kumar Bansal joined the family business.
From conventional business of money lending, the group first setup rice mill in 1977 and then installed first solvent plant in 1979 in Haryana. From 1987 to 2002, the group remained in oil industry business and set-up about 15 solvent plants, 10 vegetable oil refineries, 1 DFA/ Hard plant and oil expelling unit. In nineties this group was the largest oil producer in Northern India.
- In 2005, Ring Spinning unit of 48000 spindles was setup, being the first unit of the region to have in-house cotton ginning also.
- In 2006, the group installed its first Polyester/Cotton ring spinning of 24000 spindles in Himachal Pradesh.
- In 2006-07 after successful implementation of above spinning units.
- In 2007-08 a state of art knitted manufacturing unit was started in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
- In 2008-09, group entered in the real estate with a magnificent investment.
- In 2011, the group with numerous expansions turned into the second largest manufacturer of denim fabric in India.
